Zachary H. Avery has proudly served Northeastern Oklahoma as a massage therapist, acupuncturist, yoga instructor, writer, speaker, and coach since 2010. Licensed through the City of Tulsa and insured through the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) with over 2,500 hours of formal training, Zachary is an award-winning therapist who empowers people to be the best they can be by providing them with services, resources, and tools to live balanced, healthy lives.
Zachary pairs his training with his intuition and works to address the root cause of a person’s pain and discomfort. He has traveled the world in order to study many healing traditions, including those of the Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Mayan, Mexican, Native American, and Indian. During each session, Zachary blends the wealth and wisdom of Eastern and Western medicine, psychology, and spirituality to create exceptional, custom-tailored treatments that bring clients a deep sense of peace and vitality on a physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual level.
As a survivor of domestic violence, rape, bullying, depression, addictions, chronic illness, homelessness, codependency, and self-harm, Zachary has been on a decade-long journey in search of healing and inner peace that has now culminated in him helping others find the same. When he’s not providing his clients with excellent care, Zachary can be found at various yoga, meditation, and cooking classes. Zachary, an Eagle Scout since 2004, loves anything related to camping and the great outdoors. Reading, writing, painting, traveling, volunteering, thrift shopping, watching movies, and hanging out with friends dominate most of his remaining free time.
